We are consulting on our 2026 Network Development Plan (NDP).
As part of this consultation, we have published all relevant information used to prepare the NDP including the methodology, assumptions, and information relating to future flexibility services and expected reinforcement. The NDP is not a single document; rather, it is made up of three separate documents whose drafts are published together with this document as follows:
a) Network Development Report (NDR) for SEPD and for SHEPD
b) Network Development Plan (NDP) Methodology
c) Network Scenario Headroom Report (NSHR) for SEPD and for SHEPD
The above publications set our strategic approach to network planning, forward investment programme, flexibility service requirements, and available network capacity across both license areas over the next ten years.
Your input helps ensure the plan reflects local needs, provides clear visibility of our proposed network developments and allows stakeholders to influence the shape of our future investment decisions. We value your feedback to inform the final publication.
