We would like to invite you to join our stakeholder webinar on Storm Resilience and Prolonged Power Cuts on Tuesday 15 September, 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
As we begin planning for ED3 (2028-2033), the framework that will shape electricity distribution network investment and priorities for the next price control period, we are seeking stakeholder views to help inform our approach to resilience, community support, and preparedness for future severe weather events.
Severe storms and prolonged power outages can have significant impacts on communities, particularly customers in vulnerable situations and those who rely on critical infrastructure and services. We recognise the vital role played by local resilience partners, community organisations and stakeholders in supporting communities before, during and after storm events. Through this discussion, we want to better understand experiences from recent storms, identify what is working well, explore where current arrangements could be strengthened, and discuss how resilience planning should evolve as weather events become more frequent and complex. The insights gathered will help inform our future resilience planning and ED3 priorities.
