Over the last couple of months, we have been working on SSENs resilience portal to get this ready for the coming winter.
What is the Resilience Portal
The Resilience Portal was developed to allow for resilience groups to plan for power cuts and emergency events but was limited in capability.
This portal will allow for SSEN, our resilience partners and our customers to be able to view what welfare facilities are available in each area.
Linking to Power Track, our power cut app, means customers will be able to easily view what facilities are open and how to access these. This will include what type of welfare is available, what facilities they can offer (such as hot food, wi-fi, phone charging, shower facilities) and what times the welfare will be open.
Resilience partners will be able to view where customers are most impacted, and add their own facilities which will be shared with customers via Power Track.
