Supporting the decarbonisation journey of food production sites presents a significant challenge for Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). With approximately 209,000 farm holdings across GB in 2023, energy networks must adapt to meet different rural energy demands.

The Future Agricultural Resilience Mapping (FARM) project explores:

  1. Support UK food production and security by understanding future energy requirements, transition pathways and the associated network requirements,
  2. Identify clear commercial, policy, and planning actions for DNOs, the agricultural sector, and policymakers.

You are invited to our Show & Tell session, where we will share key insights from this work and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
