SSEN - Demand Diversification Services Webinar

We’re busy finalising the field trials of our innovative project to test the viability of Demand Diversification Services (DDS) on our Low Voltage network across the north of Scotland – and you may able to help.

Our trials are all about seeing if DDS can provide reliable and enduring demand diversification on the network,  enabling new connections to the network and/or the deferral of reinforcement.

To ensure the best possible outcome from the trials, we’re looking for Flexibility Service Providers (FSPs) – suppliers and aggregators – to join the trial for a three-to-four-month period. FSPs will be expected to recruit a small cohort (30-50) of their customers and schedule their load to meet trial requirements.

To explain more about the aims of our trial, the expectations on participating FSPs and customers, as well as the procurement process to becoming a trial participant, Kevin Stewart, our project manager will be hosting a webinar at 11am on Tuesday 10 December.
