SSEN Whole System energy options update -Inner Hebrides

Last year Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) Distribution commenced its new price control period, RIIO-ED2, which will run from 2023 to 2028. As part of the final agreement, which was reached with Ofgem, we can apply for additional funding to deliver whole system solutions for net zero and to support the security of supply in the Scottish Islands through the Hebrides and Orkney Whole System Uncertainty Mechanism (HOWSUM).  We are seeking views from customers and stakeholders to help further refine our plans. Earlier this year we hosted webinars to share progress on our plans and get your feedback. As our plans are now taking shape, we are in a position to provide a further update on progress and seek additional views from you.
