SSEN Scottish Islands Whole System energy solutions webinar - Hebrides and Orkney

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) Distribution recently commenced its new price control period called RIIO-ED2, which will run from 2023 to 2028. As part of the final agreement, which was reached with Ofgem, we are able to apply for additional funding to deliver whole system solutions for net zero and to support the security of supply in the Scottish Islands. 

We are able to apply for funding in early 2024 under the Hebrides and Orkney Whole System Uncertainty Mechanism (HOWSUM), and we are seeking views from customers and stakeholders to help shape our plans.
