SSEN Global Call Flexibility Webinar

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) are pleased to announce a network-wide call for flexibility. This webinar is part of our Global Call initiative – an opportunity for all potential providers of flexibility within our license areas to get involved.

We are interested in engaging with potential providers of flexibility services with capacity over 50 kW at GSP level within our license areas. This includes owners, operators and aggregators of generation, storage or demand assets, and suppliers.

SSEN are seeking to procure an array of flexibility services and are looking to contract for up to 4 years with a particular focus on generation turn up and demand turn down capability. The services available for participation include: Secure; Dynamic; Restore and Emergency.

We will be procuring flexibility in both our North and South license areas, as well as providing details on priority regions for upcoming flexibility requirements such as our West London region. We will also be providing updates on the Flexibility Service Agreement (FSA) and on new pricing strategies for flexibility services we are looking to introduce.
