SSEN FN - SSEN Announce Tender for Flexibility Services in the South of England

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) Distribution are pleased to announce a tender for 70MW of new Flexibility Capacity in the south of England, with a contract value estimated at £6.7M.

Owners, operators or aggregators of generation, storage or demand assets with flex capacity over 50kW may be able to provide flexibility services in return for payment from SSEN for helping to balance the grid.

SSEN will publish availability requirements at least one month ahead of need, with utilisation instructed approximately a week ahead. Contracts are being sought in 16 new zones in the south of England as shown on our website, see link below. 

Interested providers should register below through the related links and submit pre-qualification information before 19th August in order to participate in the tender.
