SSEN & Keltbray Andover Depot Launch Event

Join us for the official opening of Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) and Keltbray’s Large Capital Delivery Headquarters in Andover. The depot will play a pivotal role for teams  upgrading and enhancing SSEN’s network in this region;  paving the way for a net-zero tomorrow. 

Beyond improving the network, SSEN and Keltbray’s Large Capital Delivery teams are committed to becoming an integral part of the Andover community. Working together, this event will  be the first showcase of how we’ll engage  with local businesses, support schools and create social value that extends far beyond our depot walls.

School Attendance:

What is Large Capital Delivery?

From building new substations to laying new cables, Large Capital Delivery is the team improving our network to ensure it has the capacity and resilience to meet the needs of a greener future, while boosting the resilience of the infrastructure against adverse weather events. 

To help meet our net-zero targets, in November 2023, SSEN appointed three framework partners to accelerate our programme of large capital projects by 2028 worth over £1 billion. Keltbray secured the framework partner for the Western region, which covers Malmesbury to Weymouth, and has chosen Andover to become its new base for these works.
